Hi! This is the wonderfully designed website of Johnston Liu. I'm from Vancouver, Canada, and I'm a junior at the University of Chicago pursuing a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science.

This past summer, I was based in NYC as an intern at CMS Holdings performing research into trading strategies and building research infrastructure with Python's Pandas/NumPy library. The summer prior, I conducted mathematical research on symmetric monoidal preorders and their applications to finite topological spaces. A paper communicating my findings can be found here.
